A South Florida native, Dr. Teri Beers Rossi currently resides and practices Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry in Key West, Florida. Dr. Beers Rossi graduated medical school from University at Buffalo School of Medicine in New York. Her training in both Adult and Child Psychiatry is from the University of Miami School of Medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Her experience in Miami includes Chief, department of Psychiatry at Memorial Regional Hospital and Medical Director of Adolescent Behavioral Health at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. Dr. Beers Rossi has been featured and consulted on local television, the Discovery Channel, MTV and Psychology Today.
Before settling down in Key West, Dr. Beers had worked as a member of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce. Fund raising activities include serving on the Women’s Business Committee to benefit such programs as Dress for Success, Toys for Tots and the Police Athletic League. In addition to membership of the Key West Chamber of Commerce and Key West Rotary, Dr. Beers Rossi currently serves as Chairman of 16th Circuit Advisory Board for the department of Juvenile Justice.
